Bristina Pearson, also, known as Bris or Bump & Curls, entering this world fulfilling her passion and purpose of loving people back to life, through the beautification of hair. She is a mother of 3 beautiful children, entrepreneur, creative designer, licensed cosmetologist, cosmetology teacher, and salon owner. Most importantly, a worshiper after God’s own heart. She is truly a living and walking testimony of God’s redemption plan in action.



Bristina Pearson is the first African American female sole proprietor, Owner of a Faith based Cosmetology school in the Delaware Valley area of Pennsylvania. Her dedication to professionalism has changed the beauty School industry and inspired unlicensed stylist to become licensed with a flexible schedule with a , reasonable cost. More importantly she has afforded her students to graduate debt free.


Bristina has decided to retire from 15 years as a licensed cosmetologist and salon owner with 5 years of teaching experience to pursue her passion and open BBC Beauty Academy, in the quest to inspiring each student to pursue their purpose with passion while utilizing their gifts.



Ms. Andrews have been a licensed cosmetologist for 12 years and a teacher for 10. She has over 20 years of experience in the business and beauty industry of cosmetology. She love teaching and her main goal as BBC school supervisor, is to make the industry more amazing, “one licensed cosmetologist at a time”. 


Master Stylist Shalon McIver has been in the beauty industry for over 25 years. She is experienced in several hair techniques and has taken classes with Paul Mitchell, and Farouk Avalon Influence just to name a few. Now as a cosmetology educator her mission is to teach and inspire a new breed of stylist to excel professionally and artistically.
